In most new, two-story homes you will find an upstairs loft area which is understandably dedicated to the kiddos. What a great area to hide all of the toy mess and give the little boogers a place to call their very own! Pottery Barn has made kid-friendly living spaces very popular. Admit it, you get the PB catalog and drool a little don’t you? Then you add up all of the components necessary to pull the look off and get a little frustrated. But I’m here to assure you that you can obtain a PB look without spending your little darlins’ college tuition.
Chalkboard walls are still very “in,” but if you go to Lowe’s or Home Depot you’ll be lucky to find more than black and green chalkboard paint. You can absolutely still pair the black paint with a fun color like this:
